Does your child love the Royals? If so, he'd love to have a room like this. OK, maybe you don't need all of these, but throwing a few together while adding your own touch will surely make your child smile.

These design ideas are a mix-n-match of what I've personally seen people do along with some additional interior designs which will add creativity, uniqueness, and harmony to your boy's or girl's KC Royals themed bedroom.

Wall Paint

1. Giant KC painted on the wall in Royals blue. This is something that can easily be done in a a couple of hours, just be sure that you mark the wall with a pencil and ruler before you bring the paint brush into the fold.
2. The KC crown painted in the center of the wall. This, like the giant KC, can be something done fairly quickly in terms of painting. The longest part is the design.
Tip: Find a KC crown online and print it out, measure it and the bring it up to scale using a ruler and calculator. Use a ruler and a pencil to draw it on the wall and then bring in the paint.

Wallpaper

3. Does your boy or girl always want to go to the game and wish they could bring the stadium home with them? Try a Kaufman Stadium bedroom wallpaper.

Wall Decor

4. Stickems: Players, crowns, trophies, KC, crown, whatever! When these first came out, I wondered, "Who would want these?" But now, they have grown on me and are great for kids. They can add their favorite player or team logo and more to their rooms in no time at all.

5. Fan banners - These can be bought for cheap and are a great way to add some extra design to any room. If you have a lot of space to fill, get three of them and place them zig zag vertically.

6. Pennant flags - These are a little hard to find, but you can do it! These guys are a great way for your kid to show their friends that they are true fans of the KC Royals.

7. Powder blue George Brett jersey. Place ol' George in a giant frame and hang him in a prominent position.

8. Blue Royals bat on a bat display - A great way to show team pride is by displaying the team's beautiful bat. It's not something that should be a focal point, but it is definitely something which will catch your eye.

9. Home plate - Recently, clubs have been team themed home plates that you can easily hang on any bedroom wall.

10. Plaques - Since the Royals have recently something to be proud of and a great history, there are many great plaques to hang.

Wall Liner

11. Royals crown or logo across the top of the wall. Use a sponge stencil to go around the top of each wall and then add any additional colors you need afterward.

Furniture

12. Table with KC painted on top. Blue table, white letters, blue legs shaped like a bat. This can take a while to get started, but if you are a woodworker, you'll love this job.

13. Royals beanbag. Beanbags are great for every kid, no matter their age or gender.

Bed

14. KC Royals bedding - There's nothing more your child would love than a Royals cover and bed sheet.

15. A Royals headboard - Here's something else you will have to be creative with. Take off the headboard (or make one yourself) and then draw on KC or the crown logo and paint it Royals' blue!

Accessories

16. Royals rug - A Royals rug is like a welcome party.

17. Royals lampshade - More creative goodness: take some wax paper and write KC on it, paint it using blue acrylic paint.

18. Royals curtains - If you can't find these, sew them yourself. It only takes a few hours.

19. Royals signed balls - Does your child have any signed balls? Put them on display.

Showing Love for the Royals

It's been too long since we could truly show our love for the Royals and be proud of doing it. Now, what is a better time than creating that Royals themed bedroom?

There are many ideas to choose from, it's only a matter of choosing what is best for you and your kid. Actually, when I was writing this article, my husband commented on how he wants us to have our master bedroom made into a Royals room. Ugh!
